Amphora leaf handled ewer with lily forming rim and raised leaves on matte shaded body. The olive green and violet shading was used between 1894-1899. Max Emmanuel rifle mark.

Amphora ceramics represent the peak of Art Nouveau and received many medals at international exhibitions including the gold medal at the famous Paris 1900 exhibition. Max Emmanuel Co., London had special arrangement with Amphora to import their ceramics into England.
